DIY Mouthwash in 1 minute

Many of us worry how our breath smells. There is nothing worse than having to talk to someone who’s breath reeks of death. To avoid being that person, we buy gum, mints, brush our teeth and use mouthwash to keep our breath smelling minty fresh.

Making your own mouthwash is a simple and straightforward process that will cost you next to nothing and keep your oral hygiene on point.

Most store-bought mouthwashes contain harsh chemicals and alcohol, which can dry out the tissues in your mouth and make them more susceptible to bacteria.

Recipe

Fill a glass bottle (500ml) with water

Add one tablespoon (5g) of bicarbonate soda

Add 5 drops of Organic Peppermint Essential oil

Shake the bottle to mix and your mouthwash is ready for use

You may find that the bicarb soda does not dissolve immediately give it some time
